Dominion Resources Services contracted ANTARES to perform a variety of owner’s engineering (OE) tasks that are critical to developing 400 MW of solar photovoltaics by 2020 in Dominion’s Virginia service territory. Providing similar services as described above, this effort focuses on large, ground-mounted systems at very large scales. Both fixed-tilt and single axis tracking systems have been pursued. The contract is supported by a multi-disciplinary team that is familiar with all aspects of development from land acquisition and leasing, to interconnection and substation upgrade design.
